Glopian Advance

Adding weight to the theory that human civilization advances in rhythm with the cycles of Earth's weather, Julien Lemoine has announced that the midafternoon heat of the island of Corsica left him no choice on a recent holiday but to add compact surfaces to the repertory of the powerful open source beast Glop. Compact surfaces are closed, bounded surfaces, such as the surface of a doughnut or a coffee cup.

Lemoine did the new work in partnership with Simon Viennot, with whom the original construction of Glop was also done.

Glop has opened new sprouts vistas, and anyone interested in getting involved can find the perfect gateway at perhaps the most exciting sprouts website ever!
