Mapping G4G into Sprouts
July 27, 2009
My hope is that g4g maps nicely into the complex of misere sprouts positions deriving from one or more biospheres of four original spots. I intend each entity of g4g to be a group of four in some stage of growth and development (or of dissolution – however one wishes to describe it). An untouched group of four is a v0. The entities d0 and d1 are groups of four so far along in their development that their survivor parities are no longer in doubt, with d1 promising odd survivor parity and d0 promising even survivor parity. The q1 is a quasiswitch. (The parities of v0 and q1 are simply their cannibal counts, since these formations offer no waiting moves.) The t1 consists of a UT with odd switchman parity. The s0 is a switch with even switchman parity.
Here are examples:
1. v0 => q1 : 4 1(5)1
2. v0 => q1 : 4 1(5)1[2]
3. v0 => s0 : 4 1(5)2
4. v0 => q1 => d1 : 4 1(5)1 1(6)5
5. v0 => q1 => d1 : 4 1(5)1[2] 1(6)2[3]
6. v0 => q1 => t1 : 4 1(5)1 1(6)5[2]
7. v0 => q1 => t1 : 4 1(5)1[2] 1(6@2)5
8. v0 => q1 => s0 : 4 1(5)1 2(6)2[3]
9. v0 => q1 => s0 : 4 1(5)1[2] 3(6)3
10. v0 => q1 => s0 : 4 1(5)1[2] 3(6)4
11. v0 => q1 => t1 => s0 : 4 1(5)1 1(6)5[2] 3(7)4
12. v0 => s0 => d0 : 4 1(5)2 3(6)5
13. v0 => q1 => s0 => d0 : 4 1(5)1 2(6)2[3] 1(7)4
14. v0 => s0 => d1 : 4 1(5)2 1(6)1[3]
15. v0 => q1 => s0 => d1: 4 1(5)1 2(6)2[3] 1(7)5
