Introduction to TTIC
The Time Travel Institute of Columbia is a minimalist web association (MWA) devoted to time travel
from the perspective of recreational mathematics.
Membership is free and members are invited to submit materials for possible inclusion on this website. As an additional
benefit of membership, all members will be invited to a celebratory party in Victorian London, in the
admittedly unlikely event that TTIC theorists uncover a method for getting there.
An inspiration for this association is the Martin Gardner essay "Time Travel", originally a "Mathematical Games"
column in Scientific American and reprinted in Gardner's The Colossal Book of
Mathematics (ISBN 0-393-02023-1).
